Since the beginning of the year, word has been making rounds on the entertainment streets indicating that ex-city socialite and money bag, Brian Kirumira aka Bryan White is soon making a huge comeback.
However, none of those who spread the news of his return know the exact date of his return. However Brian White has urged Ugandans to be patient as he liaises with security agencies in the country for a suitable date at which he will hold a press briefing and the long-awaited event.
This follows the second postponement of the press conference, which was scheduled to be held on Monday 15 April, to a new date.
Commenting about the issue, Brian White assured Ugandans that everything is ready on his side. However, they should not expect splashing of money as it was previously but only developmental programs.
He promised that as soon as security is done with the clearance process of his event, he will publicly announce the new dates, and a press briefing will be held prior.
“Some people are peddling lies that they are still probing my source of income which is not true because there is no need to do so. It’s not about showing that I am still present because am not a politician looking for votes my aim is to promote development,” he said.
About the venue, Brian White assured the public that he is ready to stage the event in any venue in Kampala that he may deem fit to host his people.
“I am planning on holding most of my engagements in rural areas because I realized that those are my people” Kampala people take long to believe because even if they see a vehicle they don’t believe that it is functional until when it has started.”
He has described rumors that he has been arrested in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as false information generated by mafias and people with concealed intentions.
“All those claiming I am in custody should produce evidence to back up your allegations. I am a free person,” he said.
