During the club Silk days, when it was still located on 1st Street in the industrial area, musician Jose Chameleone was accused of beating up fellow artiste Vampino.
Even after opening up a case at Jinja Road police station and demanding an apology from the Leone Island boss, he never came through and Vampino decided to let it go.
Well, something else recently transpired between the two artistes and we got to learn about it from Vampino’s furious rant on social media.
According to the ‘Love to Dance’ artiste, Chameleone gave him a deaf ear when he approached to greet him.
“Chamili my brother when I come to say hi it’s all out of good faith am so busy to do that but I humbly come coz of yo team influence en despite u r a brother and friend I have grown with..I never gain or loose fans when I meet fellow artists its always love..from today gwe alina okumbuza oba toyagala tafulu (loosely translated as from today, it is you who will have to greet me and it will be okay if you don’t want)..we all sell tomatoes,” Vampino posted.
He added that he has met bigger stars in this world from his expeditions but never got star-struck.
With this treatment, he says he is tired of the idiocy in the industry, especially with certain people who don’t want to move on but rather get stuck with things they did in the past.
