Atyang Laura dares the mainstream with ‘Bondo’ video

Atyang Laura

Maestro Studios’ recruit, vocalist Atyang Laura has unleashed her new project dubbed ‘Bondo’ off her EP dubbed ‘Afro Feeling’.

A vocalist and songwriter, Laura opted for a conventional approach in her visuals associated with old school with props fused with delectable youth-full dance moves.

Scenes in the video depict an old-fangled youth lifestyle with vintage cars that suggest millennia of the old and new school.

Written by a remarkable lyrical guru – Yese Oman Rafiki, produced by Dero and mastered by Aneltunes, the song evokes Laura’s vocal abilities and musical versatility.

The song is a sing-along with a blend of local pop, and a pearl of melodies backed with Executive production from Maestro studio. The song has elements of industrial music, with a deep, strong bass line and a wide range of drums.

The singer who primarily sings in Itesot and English this time chose to dare Luganda, a prominent musical language that she perfectly uses with lines in English.

Presumably, in an attempt to appeal to the mainstream, the video was directed by celebrated video director Sasha Vybes.

With several singles and an album written to her name, Laura recently signed a new contract with a distinguished production house, Maestro Studios, which is actively managing her music.

The new project comes on the heels of her recent album called Alakara which is Atyang’s famous peace of art thus far with songs like Amina Eong Ijo which was never received well by the audience due to poor promotion.
