Mixed reactions awash social media following a three years jail judgment of Queen Kafta, tormentor of Pretty Nicole made by the Chief Magistrate, Ms Roseline Nsenge yesterday at Kira court in Kampala.

Netizens cite the age of the jailed woman and being a student to have her punishment revised.

Queen Kafta is a Tanzanian national aged 18 years and a student at Trinity College Nabweru. She was charged with aggravated torture.

Christine Natudonza commented on Facebook saying, “This is not fair, sentencing her wasn’t a solution but rather, she needed guidance and counselling. She is going to lose humanity by the time she gets out of jail”

One Charles Ddamulira emphasised psychological support, “What she has gone through is just far enough for her to reform. Besides she is a first-time offender,” he said.

However, a section of netizens applauds the court for the judgment.

Nicolas Byakatonda said in support of the court, “Let that be a lesson. Now where’s the so-called man they were fighting for,” he asked.

Mozey Luka said he is very happy with the judgment and effort that should be made to hunt down the other two criminals who were captured in the viral video.

“Let all of them be jailed including the man they were fighting for”.
