The Terminal Kampala to give memorable end of year 3-day party

The debut Festival Weekend concert dubbed ‘The Terminal Kampala’ will be happening at the Cricket oval and Skyz Hotel Naguru on December 30, 31, and January 1, respectively. The organisers of the event have confirmed that the weekend-long event is meant to celebrate Ugandan music with support from international acts. On each of the three days, different artistes will perform with international acts paired up with a local act.

The star-studded lineup will see artistes perform on different days. The event will kick off with the ‘Yong and Sexy’ show on December 30 with performances from Marioo from Tanzania, Dope Nation a Ghanaian musical duo of identical twin brothers, Ugandan singing duo Kataleya and Kandle, DJ Maker Breaker DJ Lito and DJ Shiru.

Ushering in 2023 will be the biggest lineup that will feature Nigerian artiste Camidoh popularly known for his hit song ‘Sugarcane’, Ya Levis France-based artiste, Sha Sha, a Zimbabwean singer, DJ Edu, Uganda’s DJ Zato, DJ Naselow, and DJ Nimrod. This night will also have a display of fireworks to welcome a new year.

The climax of the festival will happen at Skyz Hotel Naguru in an event dubbed the Big Chill to blow off the steam from the past days. This will witness performances from Lochive, Nigerian Afropop artist and rapper, Uganda’s DJ Bank Robber, Black Motion a South African house, and DJ Kash Pro.

The Terminal Kampala is a musical extravaganza spread over an entire weekend covering different genres of Music, and offering a unique festival guest experience.

The event is the first of its kind in Kampala and will bring the large-scale Musical indulgence enjoyed in other parts of the world to Ugandan music lovers. These truly unique experiences bring together the community, young and old to enjoy music from around the world.
