Saturday evening was a night of glamour, soulful music and a tour down memory lane as old girls (OG’s) of Gayaza High School with friends and family dined with South Africa’s Sipho Mabuse in celebration of 117 years of the school’s existence. The event was also the year’s fundraiser for the completion of the school’s administration block.

Hosted by the Gayaza High School class of 1990 in celebration of 117 years of Never Giving Up, the event which was full of humor, magic, and comedy was graced with the presence of high profile people who are also OG’s like Princess Elizabeth of Toro, former minister, and educationist Joyce Rovincer Mpanga among others.

Models on the runway during a fashion moment

The event’s co-MC, also a Gayaza old girl comedian Cotilda Inapo, lightened up the moment with her jokes and modeling skills before Joram Muzira, the director of Joram Model management presented an interesting fashion moment.

The runway moment was spiced with a series of Acrobat dances.

Joram’s fashion presentation attracted a challenge from Gayaza Women who also hit the runway clad in their styles to prove that they are also fashion-forward.
