September is always big on the entertainment calendar mainly because of the UNAA convention and Trade expo, the biggest showcase for Ugandans in America. This is a prestigious event to attend and an invitation alone is a big step in someone’s career.
Cultural Troupe Dance n Beats was fortunate enough to snag this gig which is their first international gig ever since their establishment in 2016. They will be performing at the 34th edition of the annual convention and trade expo in San Francisco from September 2-5.
“Performing at the UNAA Convention is a very big milestone for us. It shows that our work is being noticed even abroad. Being our first performance overseas, we are more than determined to put up the best show ever,” said George Edward Matovu, the director of the troupe.
