Goodlyf singer Douglas Mayanja, alias Weasel, had promised to take the organisers of the Chike concert to court after the Nigerian artiste performed their song, Breath Away without his consent. Chike opened his performance at Kampala Serena Hotel during “A Night With Chike” with the song.
“Malembe Life Style & Baileys (event organisers), our lawyers will be serving you soon sir. It is time to set up professionalism in our music industry,” Weasel had posted.
Now information we have received from a reliable source is that Weasel has decided to retract his threats after the team at Malembe apologised to him.
“They called Weasel and asked for forgiveness. They told him that they were wrong and such a thing will never happen again,” said our source.
