Last year we met Tumi (Lurayi), and saw what it means to be the black sheep of the family, and how life will always present opportunities to screw things up. In the first season of How to Ruin Christmas, she managed to almost ruin her sister Beauty (Thabethe)’s wedding, as the Sellos and Twalas worked on becoming one.

Tumi and her family are back in the second season, and there’s drama to be had. The first season left several questions, which all get answered in the new season.

Of course other questions rise up when Tumi finds herself in the middle of another uncomfortable position. It’s a year since the families became one, and they have to contend with disagreements that rattle up their Christmas plans. Will Christmas be ruined? Load those data bundles and find out.

The Ramaphakela siblings are making their mark on Netflix with Seriously Single, and now the How to Ruin Christmas series, and I’m here for it. The first season of How to Ruin Christmas was short and sweet enough to keep us wanting, and the second season serves just enough to leave us entertained.  –
