There is a belief that marrying a deejay is as good as not marrying at all because the time they are supposed to be meeting their marital obligations, they are in bars playing music.
But with Covid and the endless lockdown of entertainment, perhaps it is the right time for deejays to concentrate on their relationships. Talking of concentrating on relationships, Sanyu Fm’s Dj Xzyl got married a few days ago to her longtime Danish boyfriend known as Peter in an exclusive wedding.
They were friends before they started dating and after two years of dating and a year of engagement, they decided to make it official.
Asked why now after two years of dating, one of Uganda’s finest female deejays said it’s the best timing.
“This is the best time to get married because it’s financially friendly. So we won’t be starting our forever after with debts,” she said.
