As other artistes are forming associations to get money from stimulus funds from the government and some individuals, Navio has been busy diversifying his source of income. We all knew that artistes don’t have much to do since the first lockdown was imposed due to the pandemic.
The rapper decided to venture into farming to make ends meet. The ‘Njogereza’ artiste by the look of things is now into farming and is reaping from it.
Earlier on, he posted a selfie, with trays of eggs behind him with a statement:
“Mukaseera nga endongo ekyaali ku hold, nze munaye mbade nebilira nengendako ku farm, these are fresh eggs from Zuri Model Farms, tulina amatooke, lumonde, kasooli, enkoko z’enyama mpozi nebirala!!” translated as in this period when concerts are on hold, I have been sneaking out to the farm. These are fresh eggs from Zuris model farms, we also have bananas, sweet potatoes, maize, as well as chicken.
You could say Navio is one of the privileged artistes being born to Maggie Kigozi but the rapper has put aside the silver spoon to hustle.
