Reigning Miss Africa Golden kick-starts search for next Ugandan representative


Last year, Uganda was honoured to have our very own, Pamela Aleper, scooping the Miss Africa Golden crown, a beauty pageant that happens every year. The pageant also looks to promote originality, culture, and Tourism on the continent. The pageant had participants from over 15 countries including; Uganda, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Ghana, and Botswana.

As her reign nears its end, Aleper has organized an audition show dubbed “Be the Next Golden Woman Uganda”, giving a chance for other Ugandan beauty queens to shine on the continent.

“The show is intended to identify the next beauty queen to represent Uganda at the Miss Africa Golden finale, 2021, in October in Antalya, Turkey. I, therefore, call upon models and those interested in pageantry to come for this show,” Aleper says

The auditions will be held on April 20, at Delight House, Naalya, Room DH4-02, starting at 10:00 am, at a fee of sh100, 000 per participant.

Interested girls who have passion for pageantry are urged to show up for the auditions, with requirements like; White vests, black jeans, and heels.
