It was expected that the entertainment business would at least be back to normal by January 2021 but by the look of things, we still have a long way to go. Updates from the Ministry of Health indicate that the Covid-19 numbers are growing by the day.

While many are folding their hands on what to do to escape this pandemic, some businesses are booming. And among those is the beer makers.

Last week, Uganda Breweries Limited had a new addition to their family – the Gordon’s Pink premium gin, which was introduced to the Ugandan market with a launch happening at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

The invite-only luncheon was graced by some of Kampala’s top socialites, including two prominent ex-members of Obsessions – Natasha Sinayobye and Cleopatra Koheirwe.

The two bumped into each other, almost two decades after they wowed audiences countrywide with their dance moves. They were overheard reminiscing on the days gone by when they were the most sought after dance outfit.

It was also at this launch that Sinayobye was crowned brand ambassador of the gin and she couldn’t hide her excitement, promising to do whatever it takes to make it reach great heights.

Spicing it up

Sinayobye who has been busy in lockdown treating her Instagram and TikTok fans to bouts of laughter with her funny videos, is tasked with among others, applying her many talents in representing the global brand in Uganda.

The event saw various influencers sample different cocktails throughout the evening and many were left appreciating the drink.

Gordon’s Pink is a berry-flavoured gin that is derived from the original Gordon’s London Dry Gin.
