Nwagi, Azawi bring their A game on online concert as Fenon shines

Azawi and Nwagi on stage

After a long break, Club Beatz returned and unlike before, both the supporting and main act came from the same record label. We are talking about Winnie Nwagi and Azawi who performed on Sunday during the Club Beatz at Home online edition.

The Swangz Avenue ladies didn’t disappoint and Fenon Events did a phenomenal job with the setup.

With the combination of the two incredible artistes, Fenon Events also outdid themselves with an exquisite state of the art set up and crystal clear sound for the night. It is not a secret anymore that Fenon Events are the kings of indoor events in Uganda, they give life to an event.

The show was kick-started by little known Ruth Grace an artiste that the host Douglas Lwanga referred to as ‘Uganda’s best kept secret’. It might be an overstatement but the burgeoning artiste proved she’s a force to reckon with just with one song she performed. Ruth who is also a former rated next winner proved her abilities with a merry Christmas song bucked by a choir.

Winnie Nwagi , the self-proclaimed ‘Fire baby’ was next on stage and kicked off her performance with ‘Musawo’ with her strong vocals.

Nwagi also performed her other songs ‘Magic’, ‘Mataala’, and ‘Everything’ before inviting Azawi who came onto the stage with a rendition of Chronixx’s song ‘Skankin’ Sweet.

She then left the stage for Azawi. She then performed her songs ‘Crazy Lover’, ‘Quinamino’, ‘Repeat It’ and ‘Lo Fit’ before Nwagi returned for the last segment of the show.

She performed her other songs including ‘Jangu’, ‘Show Me’, and ‘Fire Dancer’, before closing off the show with ‘Kwata Esimu’ collaboration with Free Boy.

The final episode of this season of Club Beatz at Home will take place on January 1, 2020.
