US-based Ugandan actor, HemDee Kiwanuka rolls out new horror movie

HemDee Kiwanuka, a US based Ugandan actor and son to legendary musician Halima Namakula, has announced his new movie, Army of One, which recently hit cinemas in the United States.

For the past years, Kiwanuka has written his name in the States’ film industry as an actor. However, this time round, he has taken a step to both act and co-produce another movie with American producer, Stephen Durham.

Kiwanuka’s movie was on December 15 unleashed on VOD by Uncork’d Entertainment with plans for Uganda premier that will be communicated as explained by his mother Halima Namakula.

Army of One where Kiwanuka also acts as Dean is not the only film he has produced this year, having released Redwood Massacre 2: ANNIHILATION on 22nd October 2020. He has also featured in movies like Ghosts of Darkness alongside Paul Flannery, among others

The movie features a story of Alabama a married couple, Dillon and Brenner Baker who go out hiking when they stumble across an illegal drug and gun storage compound. Before they can flee the area the cartel captures and interrogates them painfully.

However, the cartel make two mistakes: they kill Dillon and think they killed Brenner. Now, 1st Lieutenant Brenner Baker of the Army’s 75th Ranger Division is on a one-woman killing mission carving up everyone in her path until there’s only one person standing, her. Brenner is, an Army of One!

Film Synopsis
