Dancehall artiste Cindy Sanyu has shared a piece of advice to young artistes seeking to make it big in the music industry. In a video on her YouTube channel, Cindy noted that the first aspect of a successful career is to have talent. She noted that those who are not blessed with spectacular voices tend to struggle since singing is not their God-given talent.
“Have real talent, If God wants you to succeed as an artiste, the very best thing He is going to give you is a voice but if you can’t sing, that means you are struggling because you are not supposed to be an artiste,” Cindy said.
She further noted that practice, hard work, and training of the voices are also key to a successful music career. Cindy advises young artists to record their music, get a writer, and a producer, and stick to them to get a definite sound associated with you.
Cindy also appealed to young artistes to ensure that they open their social media accounts. This way, they won’t lose their social media handles should they disagree with their management.
The singer recently marked yet another milestone in her career thanks to her ‘Boom Party’ video. The dancehall track that has refused to go off music charts has hit 2 million views on YouTube. The dancehall track that has refused to go off music charts has hit 2 million views on YouTube.
