There is a lot of mystery that surrounds the personal life of presidential candidate John Katumba however, the missing gaps in his contentious biography might soon be fixed by the public.
The last time when we interviewed him in Sunday Monitor, one of his aides may have recklessly hinted that the presidential candidate was heading to a music studio after the interview.
We later asked Katumba was also a musician but he reluctantly declined by saying “Byakweyiiya” simply meaning just hustle and later he elaborated that he was in process of making his campaign song.
However, we have learnt that the contentious candidate, whose life could only be known to him, was a former music promoter and vendor in Kampala as alleged by Arua based music promoter a one Al Zaid Victor on Facebook.
We have also learnt that Katumba worked at Psalms House of Music in Kiwatule earlier in 2016 and is also a professional guitarist.
Katumba’s existence remains a myth that a lot remains desired to be explained and a couple of unanswered questions still linger. His story is a case of phrases like I don’t want to talk about that and I don’t recall that. The only consistent line in his story however is that he is a fresh University graduate and is 24 years old.
