Entebbe international airport was opened at the start of this month as a phase of easing the lockdown after several months of being closed. With this opening comes some good news especially for the tourism sector.
Uganda has been ranked among the top six countries’ travel destinations this month by Forbes, an American business magazine.
Uganda’s travel system at the moment requires a negative COVID-19 polymerize chain reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of arrival and a negative test before departure as well. Those are the requirements needed to enter the Pearl of Africa.
The list has other destinations like Panama in Central America, El Salvado in North America, Pakistan in Southern Asia, Ukraine in Eastern Europe, and finally Bahamas in North America.
Published eight times a year, Forbes Magazine features original articles on finance, industry, investing, and marketing topics among other topics that are of high public interest, globally.
