If there is one person whose heart beats for Uganda’s tourism, it is singer Eddy Kenzo. Ever since he was announced as Uganda Tourism Ambassador by Ministry of Tourism and Uganda Tourism Board, Kenzo has gotten to work.
Over the weekend, he took the road to the Western part of Uganda and stopped at Queen Elizabeth National Park were he was with a group of youths. Today, the singer has raised concern about the demonstrations that are going on and pointed figures at those blocking roads as they try to riot. “People Power members block the road for other road users every time they get on the road” Kenzo said.
He went on to say that if they are doing that at this time then how will they behave when power is in their hands” Kenzo asked. He then said that such acts of fighting each other are the same reasons tourists will fear to come to Uganda yet we need them to boost our tourism industry.
