Even though this pandemic and lockdown period has been somewhat quiet for artistes, they have tried to find a way to keep themselves relevant and engaged. Many have busied themselves doing online shows. This is why it must have been a relief to some of them, when they were requested to record a song in the outdoors. Talent Africa and TAG studios put 10 artistes to a good cause a few days back by getting them to record a song on Lake Victoria. The artistes who included Navio, The Mith, Lillian Mbabazi, Flex D’Paper, Beenie Gunter, Tucker HD, King Hanny, MC Yallah, Herbert Ssensamba and Lamu were all taken on a boat cruise where they recorded a ‘Nalubaale’ song as well as shooting of the video at the same time.
“To record an audio and visuals while floating on the lake has never been done before. It allowed the artistse and production team to showcase their creativity influenced by the scenery and beauty of the location,” Aly Alibhai, the CEO of Talent Africa said.
The choice of the above mentioned artistes according to Alibhai stemmed from the fact that they are part of the Talent Africa/TAG studios family and most have been recording with them for years.
