Big Eye (real name Ibrahim Mayanja) by the look of things, has given up on his intentions to sue the President after failing to get the Shs270million he said he was owed when he performed for him back in 2011.
With this having fallen through the window, Big Eye seems to be contemplating switching sides from NRM to Bobi Wine’s party. He has started off by warning fellow artistes.
Using his social media platforms, the Mango Juice artiste said that no musician is safe ever since Bobi joined politics.
“No musician is safe ever since Hon Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine stood against Mr Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Even us who support the NRM, we are not safe. A lot of unlawful things and unfair things are going to be done to disorganise this music industry, separate it and put it down,” he warned.
He further advised his fellow musicians to open their eyes widely as some media houses/entertainment programs have started being paid to expose musicians with an aim of spoiling the musicians’ image. “If am not mistaken we might even be the reason why this country is still in lockdown so that we don’t do any shows to earn. May be we better stand with Hon Robert Kyagulanyi who will understand our pain,” he said.
