My boyfriend would be dead if he wasn’t jailed- Sheila Gashumba

Sheila with God’s plan in their happy days

Lieutenant General Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, a former British army officer and writer once said “Juvenile crime is not naturally born in the boy, but is largely due either to the spirit of adventure that is in him, to his own stupidity, or to his lack of discipline, according to the nature of the individual.”

For socialite Sheila Gashumba’s boyfriend, Marcus Ali Lwanga popularly known as God’s Plan we can’t tell when and whether it was stupidity, lack of discipline or the spirit of adventure, like Smyth describes, that landed him in jail, as she claims.

However, what we now know is that God’s Plan was once an inmate, if Sheila’s  account is anything to believe.

The Ugandan Fashionista and media personality on Tuesday took to her social media platforms to tell her followers how she’s inspired by her boyfriends’s criminal past.

According to Sheila, God’s Plan holds no regrets going to prison in the United Kingdom because with the crimes and gangs in London at that time, he would be dead.

“Prison calmed me down, it made me reflect on life and made me a better man. It also made me learn to make better life decisions’,” Sheila quotes God’s Plan as saying.

However, Sheila thinks there is nothing as beautiful as a man who acknowledges his mistakes with so much honesty.

“That’s when I knew that someone’s Past is just a story, it’s only a lesson not a life sentence. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you used to do in your past, WHAT MATTERS IS WHERE YOUR LIFE IS HEADING NOW!!! This man right here is the best son anyone can have, the best brother, the best father to his children, the best friend anyone can have and the best boyfriend any girl would wish to have!! I don’t regret choosing you ?? Always let go of the past but keep lessons that it taught you!” she posted on her Instagram.
