Since the lockdown has become the new normal due to the coronavirus pandemic, Club Pilsner has found a way to keep party lovers entertained. They came up with an online concert that airs every Saturday on their social media platform as well as their Youtube channel.
The first season of the Club Beatz At Home online concert that featured artistes like Ykee Benda, Lillian Mbabazi, A Pass Mun*G and John Blaq among others set the pace and Season 2 has not disappointed so far as Karole Kasita, King Saha, Fik Fameica, Sam Principal, and DJ Ciza delivered performances that were worth our data.
The concert features top artistes. Over the weekend, the concert returned in its second season featuring new kid on the block Sam Principle who kicked off the performances with his only song dubbed ‘Kalantini’.
For a first time performer with just one song that talks about the situation for most Ugandans during the lockdown, he did well, his vocals and liveliness show a huge talent awaiting his shine. He even got Martha Kay the host of the show dancing to the song.
After Sam Principal’s performance, self-proclaimed Fresh Bwoy, Fik Fameica took to the stage. The rapper performed his songs; ‘Property’, ‘Tell Me’, his latest song ‘Ndi Byange’, and ‘Mafia’.
Karole Kasita then came on and she put up an exciting performance as she brought out her vocals skills when she covered Etana’s song Reggae and Sean Paul and Estelle’s ‘Come Over’.
She also performed ‘Obuwoomi’, and ‘Binyuma’, before taking us for a dance fest to close her performance.
King Saha was the last performer of the night and the viewers favorite. Comments were pouring in complimenting his performance and requesting different songs. He performed ‘Mpa Love’, ‘Gundeeze’, ‘Hullo Hullo’, ‘Biri Biri’ and ‘Sala Puleesa’ before he called it a night. After the show viewers started commenting on the show’s page with “Bring Back King Saha”.
DJ Ciza then took over the show taking it to a whole new level with his blazing mixes as viewers danced to their favorite songs, back-to-back, for close to an hour.
