For the past few days, gossip sections of media outlets have been filled with stories of singer John Khasada aka John Blaq’s bitter row and split from his management, who also doubles as his cousins identified as Kalobe Kenneth and Norman Kitti.
With all that was going on, the singer decided to seek legal help so as to handle the matter amicably. Andrew Obam, John Blaq’s lawyer has come out to dismiss rumours that his client John Blaq split with his management over issues concerning women.
While appearing on NBS’s UnCut recently, John Blaq’s lawyer said the separation was caused by poor accountability of the artiste’s funds and failure to pay him.
“John Blaq asked his managers who also double as his cousins to hand over his social media logins so that they can separate peacefully, but the management was playing games,” he said.
According to Obam, John Blaq lost over Shs300m which is said to have been swindled by his management.
“It is for these reasons that he chose to seek legal help and I believe we shall achieve something,” Obam added.
Music analyst Eddy Ssendi however says that John Blaq has a bright future and may not be affected by the separation from managers.
John Blaq has since opened up a new Twitter account and has asked his fans to follow him since he lost the previous one to his managers.
