Events promoter and businessman Balaam Barugahara today shared a meal with the people he was donating relief food to at Radio 4 in Ntinda. The events guru ate some of the posho and beans after the drive to show how good the food is.

He donated 2.5 tonnes of maize flour to ghetto youths that refer to themselves as Aba banda ba Kaguta simply meaning Kaguta’s loyal followers. Balaam says the relief food was bought by Friends and Supporters of Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. This was after seeing a post by the youth on Facebook requesting the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi and DP President Norbert Mao for food.

According to Balaam, they are aware that Bobi Wine gave the youths food but it might have not been enough which is why they are adding them the food. “After seeing a post on Facebook from the ghetto youth asking for food, we decided to step in. we know that Bobi Wine gave them some food but it probably wasn’t enough,” Balaam said.

He also noted that they are also going to give food to all bouncers in Kampala since night clubs have been closed for over a month now which only means they are not working.

He also donated to 26 yellow bloggers headed by Ashburg Katto, widows of ex-servicemen. The same group made a donation of 2.5 tonnes of posho to the National COVID Taskforce.

Balaam thanked everyone that turned up to receive the relief food that included beans, posho and rice.
