Eddy Kenzo held in Ivory Coast

Eddy Kenzo

Yesterday, President Yoweri Museveni banned all flights in and out of Uganda as a preventive measure against coronavirus.

This meant that, Eddy Kenzo is meant to stay in Ivory Coast where he had gone for a performance earlier on last week, of which the event didn’t even take place. He was put under quarantine in a hotel room.

Kenzo badly wants to return home but he just can’t following the President’s directive.

“So I’m not allowed to come back home,” Kenzo wrote on his social media with crying emojis. But the trolling he got after this post was too much for him.

“Nze sitya loss. Ndi boss,” one tweeted in reference to his song Sitya Loss.

Then another person twitted; “Oyenjela nyo nawe, Okwenjela kwakulemesa omukazi naye toyiga,” in reference to Rema. While another told him; “Thought you said Nze eno ensi tenemazamu.”

Unfortunately, a few hours later, Uganda registered its first coronavirus patient which justified more strictness at the airports and all entry points.
