On 1st February artistes, friends, family and well-wishers of Mowzey Radio gathered at his resting place in Kaga to celebrate his life. The singer passed on two years ago at case clinic after getting involved in a fight in a bar in Entebbe. Mowzey Radio was not just an artiste but also a great song writer, one of the most creative song writers Uganda has ever had.
Among the people that attended the ceremony was the State Minister for Tourism Mr. Godfrey Kiwanda. In his remarks he said he was planning to make Radio’s resting place a museum where people and tourists can visit to remember and honour Radio and his great talent.
Schwarzenegger Kafeero an artiste who is the late Paul Kafeero’s son came out and also asked the minister to take care of his father’s grave. “If it possible, I was requesting to meet you and take you to my father Pau Kafeero’s resting place and see what you can do about it.” He said in a video clip. “You can build one museum for all the fallen artistes in one place.” He concluded.
The late Prince Job Paul Kafeero was a kadongo kamu singer known for songs like, ‘Walumbe Zaaya’, ‘Lucia’, Dippo Naziggala’ and ‘Njagala Kuda Bukunja’ among others.
