Singer Ronald Magada alias Maro will be celebrating 10 years of doing Ugandan music as we start a new decade. This will see him hold a concert to celebrate the milestone just like we have seen Eddy Kenzo and Radio and Weasel hold concerts to celebrate 10 years.
Dubbed Anjagala Live Concert, Maro will host the lovers of his music and the fans that have stood with him ever since he broke out on the music scene 10 years ago in a VIP show that will take place at Mestil Hotel in Nsambya.
According to Maro, 10 years of music is no joke and he doesn’t take it for granted and that was the reason he chose to do his show on Valentine’s Day, a day to celebrate love and his music mostly talks about love.
“For the last 10 years, my music has always mended broken hearts, made people find and others believe in love and February 14 being a day to celebrate Love, I decided to hold the Anjagala Live Concert on that day,” says Maro.
Maro has for the last 10 years held concerts in Kampala and Jinja and he has managed to record many songs of which some include ‘Genda Ewamwe’, ‘Musaayi’, ‘Julia’, ‘Kamboyine’, ‘Embeera Zo’, ‘Natereza’ and ‘Addicted’ featuring Irene Namubiru among others.
