Best African Entertainer award winner Eddy Kenzo, popularly known by his stage name as Edrisah Musuuza says he will have to perform at his former longtime nemesis Bebe Cool’s concert come December 26.
The Big Talent Entertainment told journalists in Kampala that he will perform at the Gagamel boss, real name Moses Ssali’s Kiwatule concert as payback for the attendance at his historical 10 years of Eddy Kenzo concert at Serena Hotel in Kampala on January 4, 2019.
During Kenzo’s concert, Bebe Cool who paid Shs6 million for two tables shook hands with his other nemesis, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine. The two even shared a table as they enjoyed performances from Kenzo and other artistes who turned up to support the System Volongoto singer.
“Bebe Cool contacted me asking for my support at his show. Bebe Cool and I had not been seeing eye-to-eye for long. I don’t agree with some of the things Bebe Cool says but even when we had issues between us, he paid Shs6m for two tables at my 10 Years of Eddy Kenzo concert. It was a surprise because he had never attended any of my music shows. When I saw him with Bobi shake hands at my show, I was happy. I can only pay him (Bebe) back by showing support at his Kiwatule concert. I’m here for one love and for a new Uganda. I’m here to rebrand,” Kenzo told journalists before reiterating that his Seguku house was not for sale.
“The fact is I can’t live there anymore because it has so many memories. I spent about Shs1 billion on that house but I’m not selling it. Maybe I’ll rent it out to someone.”
