When Doctors and Nurses went out to party

Doctors and Nurses of International Medical Centre (IMC) branches last week gathered at Kingdom Kampala to celebrate what would be their end of year party.

The doctors and Nurses who respected a dress code of African Print turned up big numbers to attend their first-ever excellence awards celebrations with the intention to create excitement among its staff and also recognize them for an extra-ordinary job done in bringing quality service to the customers.

The event which kicked with a cocktail and performances from Jehovah Shalom Accapella and a live performance from Myk Ouma band. As they enjoyed the drinks and bites on the house, the band kept them entertained as they waited for the Awards ceremony to kick off.

Different IMC Clinics won various awards categories. Gulu won the Operational Excellence Award, Park Royal, the People’s Choice Award, Wandegeya clinic took the Service Excellence Award, Entebbe Road was awarded the best facility, with Mukono taking the Reward Our Owner Award and Kololo achieving the Team of the Year Award.

The overall award which is the CIEL was given to the best IMC of the year and the innovation award to IHK in recognition of their ability to use advanced technology, new equipment and specialized skills. Also, they have invested in the group to further their mission of being Uganda’s leading healthcare provider to meet International Standards.

After the awards ceremony, the staff of all clinics had time to party as they danced to different kinds of music played by the DJ until later in the evening.
