Gordon Wavamunno is without a doubt one of the people that revolutionalised the TV industry, and although his TV dream collapsed, the dream was never lost. Thanks to Wavah’s WBS TV, a good number of presenters and media personalities were born.
Now years after the station’s collapse, the businessman seems to be working on ways of getting back into business. During the WBS TV reunion party a few days ago, Wavamunno hinted on a possible come back. In his speech, the Spear Motors proprietor said he has earmarked Shs1b for a new TV station.
Although he did not give away many details about this investment, we were left wondering what special muscle he will bring to tussle the now very competitive industry.
