Ssebunjo contemplates on bringing Youssou Ndour for a concert

Joel Ssebunjo is known for many things such as playing a Senegalese instrument, the Kora and of course rubbing shoulders with many West African artistes.

However, since releasing his album United Slaves of Africa early this year, the artiste has been majorly silent about his next move until yesterday morning.

Ssebunjo took to his twitter account to announce that he’s intending to bring Senegalese artiste Youssou N’dour but needs to be sure there is an audience for him here in Uganda

“This is YOUSSOU N’DOUR, a friend & great musician. My desire is to invite him to Uganda next year but am wondering if there is sufficient audience for him. If you know & appreciate his music, kindly retweet. Other fans could be on your TL”

He asked his followers to retweet since other fans of his music could be online. People like Daniel Kalinaki and Robert Kabushenga have asked him to bring the artiste already because they are willing to attend.

Youssou N’Dour is a Senegalese singer, songwriter, composer, occasional actor, businessman, and politician. He is known for his hit song the trilingual ‘7 Seconds’, a duet sung with Neneh Cherry.
