After filling Cricket Oval twice during his annual concerts, Singer Gravity Omutujju has become comfortable with the venue. Unlike other artistes who are afraid to hold concerts at Cricket Oval fearing flops because it is a very huge venue, Gravity looks like he is not about to the change venue for his concerts.
Gravity will tomorrow be at the same venue for his concert dubbed “Ekyakuzaala Kyekirikuta” and for the first time, he has decided to make changes in the way the concert will be programmed. Speaking at a Press Conference yesterday, Gravity said that gates to his concert will be opened at 10am in the morning for children to enjoy video games, bouncing castles, face painting and performances till evening when they will have to leave the venue for the grownups.
“The concert will be like a carnival or festival with children being engaged with games where as the adults will enjoy music starting from 7Pm,” Gravity said. He went on to note that he will not mention any particular artiste that will perform at the show though most of the artistes on the lineup have confirmed attendance.
He concluded by saying that having grown up in the ghetto, he knows how and what it means when one doesn’t attend school and he will provide school fees to two lucky people who will attend the show tomorrow.
