Bobi Wine’s mate attacked, left fighting for his life

“With the struggle, some will stay standing while others will lose their lives in the process.” These are some of the words that Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine usually posts on his social media as he continues fighting for what he believes is a good cause.

But while he’s on the course, his good friend known as Ziggy Wine who is also an artiste, was abducted and tortured to the extent that he almost lost his life. According to Bobi Wine, Ziggy was kidnapped a couple of weeks ago and beaten beyond recognition.

“My close friend and fellow artist (Ziggy Wine) was kidnapped a couple of weeks back, beaten beyond recognition, his left eye plucked out, two of his fingers cut off, all his belongings taken and dumped in Mulago Hospital and left for dead,” he narrated on his social media platforms.

The Kyadondo East Member of Parliament also added that Ziggy is in such a bad state that he nearly lost all his senses and is now surviving on God’s mercy. “This is one of the very many saddening stories across the country sanctioned by the very people whose duty is to protect us.” He also called on the public to keep him in their prayers.
