Bar business in Uganda is one of the hardest. You can either be so successful or become bankrupt. Jose Chameleone might be the latter because the DNA bar that he co-owned with his friend is now closed.
But there are two stories reaching our desk.
It is alleged that the bar was sold after it failed to meet the targets while another rumour has it that it was closed because of pending rent arrears.
According to a source, Chameleone and his partner haven’t paid rent for four months and for the owner, it was enough reason to seal the premises off.
Our efforts to reach Chameleone for a comment where futile as his phones were switched off.
DNA has been operating for the last couple of months in which it had theme nights like Band super wagon Mondays, silent disco and it was the venue for the artiste’s recent birthday celebrations
