Restaurant week seeks to command global attention for Kampala’s hospitality industry

When you talk of Uganda’s biggest food showcase it is one event comes to mind, The Kampala Restaurant week.

It is Uganda’s largest restaurant showcase and it will be returning for the 5th edition after a remarkable last edition in 2018 which saw over 15,000 diners go out to experience the growth and development Kampala’s culinary scene has made in recent years.

The restaurant week will be going on from 1-11 August 2019 and will bring together 40 restaurants in a showcase that will see these restaurants create new exciting dishes at discounted prices, encouraging consumers to walk through their doors and discover the potential of our restaurant industry.

Supported by Tusker Lite, this editions will also feature two participants from Entebbe, one from Jinja and one from Mbarara, as The Pearl Guide intends to show the countrywide growth plan of the restaurant showcase.

With this generous price incentive and the promise of new foodie experiences outside the ordinary, this year’s edition promises not only to excite but also to command global attention for Kampala’s hospitality industry
