Events security guru Dixon Bond Okello must have written down somewhere that 2019 will be his year. Okello who has been in the events business for more than 10 years handling local events, especially music and sports, finally landed himself a gig in Egypt.
He was part of the security team at the just concluded African Cup of Nations in Egypt. Even though Uganda didn’t make it to the finals, Okello was there handling the final game successfully.
Close sources have tipped us that the security personnel, who is set to return to the country soon, is planning a welcome party where he will invite his friends to drink to the accomplishment. It is said that it will take place at Car Wash Bar and Restaurant on Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road.
