Comedienne Ann Kansiime and her lover are in mourning following the sudden death of Abraham Tukahirwa, known to many as Skylanta’s father identified as Allan Emmanuel Bukuru last week on Friday. The circumstances surrounding the deceased’s death have not yet been revealed.
The young artist went to his Facebook page to announce the sad news and was thankful for the unconditional support, love and care he got from his late dad.
He wrote, “ I will forever miss you my father, my mentor, a trendsetter like no other, my supporter a man ahead of all times. I will forever remember the great things you did, thank you for education, thank you for a roof over my head, thank you for the clothing, thank you for the food, thank you……thank you.”
Skylanta was overwhelmed with emotion as added, “You have left a hole that will take a million men to fill. Mzee mukama akuhe ekihuumuro kirungi. ”
Ann Kansiime is also consoling her partner in his trying moment as she posted an encouraging message on Facebook page saying, “Smiling for the both of us my Kantu. There will be brighter days.”
In an updated burial arrangement program, Skylanta says today there will be a vigil at former Lawns in Kololo next to multi choice, Kampala at 5pm, and then the body will transported tomorrow morning to Mbarara for a church service at Adit mall opposite Bank of Uganda in the afternoon. Then finally the deceased will be laid to rest on Friday in their village in Kazo.
