Amos Wekesa is usually a happy man, but this week he could have been replaced for the smiley emoji. Eh! And it all made sense when we found out that the tourism enthusiast has a new baby and it was named MV Kazinga. Strange name for a baby, huh? Well, that is because MV Kazinga is a boat and Wekesa is over the moon about it as he was seen sharing on his social.
The boat, which is expected to arrive this weekend will become an addition to Wekesa’s numerous tourism investments and it did not come cheap. It cost a whooping Shs1.5b…close your mouths!
“It’s a 65-seater US make and it has everything you would need in a VIP boat, with a front and back deck, leather seats, cooker, fridge etc,” Wekesa told us. A sneak peek into a video of the boat, we could not help but spot a wine cellar too – ahem. There you go travellers, July is coming…let’s go ride fancy on the Kazinga channel!
