Top ten photos from Tulambule Tourism Campaign

The Tulambule Tourism Campaign aimed at promoting local tourism is in Northern Uganda for another edition.

The campaign is geared towards promoting local tourism and reminding Ugandans to travel and see places and experience what motherland Uganda has to offer. Here are our top ten photos from the campaign.

Ambassadors for the northern Uganda edition include; Salvador (Patrick Idringi), Gaetano Kaggwa, Anita Fabiola, Marcus Kwikiriza and kickboxer Moses Golola

They made several stopovers in various towns as they bought foodstuffs and other edibles including muchomo (roasted meat) and roasted gonja (plantain) since Uganda is a food nation with a lot of culinary options to indulge their taste buds.

Travelers after waking up from a night of camping in tents in the compound of Pakuba Safari Lodge located at the banks of the Albert Nile, in Murchison Falls National Park. Camping, as a cheaper yet adventurous option, was part of the experience for the social media influencers, journalists and bloggers during the Tulambule expedition to Northern Uganda, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and Uganda Tourism Board (UTB)

A giraffe turns its head to look at tourists in Murchison Falls National Park, one of the most visited parks in Uganda, located in Northern Uganda. This was during an early morning drive in the park by tourists on a tourism campaign dubbed Tulambule undertaken by the Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Tourism Board and Uganda Wildlife Authority to promote domestic tourism.

Travel enthusiast and entrepreneur, Steven Nyeko, joins Acholi Youth Traditional Performers in the Bwola dance, a traditional performance among the Acholi people on Northern Uganda. It is characterized with fast dance patterns and songs. The performance was part of entertainment to guests during the Tulambule tourism campaign in the north to promote domestic tourism under the auspices of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), Ministry of Tourism and Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).

Celebrity kick boxer Golola Moses ‘of Uganda’ takes breakfast. He was one of the ambassadors for the northern edition of Tulambule, a campaign aimed at promoting Uganda’s tourism beauty to Ugandans so that they can explore motherland. The other ambassadors were comedian Patrick Idringi alias Salvador and radio and television personalities; Gaetano Kagwa and Marcus Kwikiriza. Tulambule is made possible in partnership of the Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) AND Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA)

The Fort was one of the places visited during the Tulambule tourism campaign aimed at showcasing Uganda’s tourism potential to Uganda in order to boost domestic tourism
