Sheila Gashumba

When her fans stopped seeing her in the evenings on NTV the beat, many speculated that she had been fired from the station.

However, Sheilah Gashumba who was away on holiday in Dubai is now back into the country and has disputed the rumours and said she just needed more time to focus on her personal business.

“I was not sacked or fired from NTV. Everything you have heard is false,” she said on Instagram TV.

“Around November last year, I had a meeting with my management about the things I wanted to do in 2019. I also had a meeting with NTV management and I decided I would not be on NTV the beat effective January 2019,” she added.

The lil-stunner said she is working on opening up her fashion store Gash Glam and would love to give it all her time because she wants it to be perfect.

“I will be giving it all my attention, from 9am to 10pm. I still love NTV the beat and I am still employed by NTV, but I will only be able to do style project with Bettinah and Tazibone, every Friday evening.

Sheila Gashumba has been in the media industry since she was 10 years old.
