‘Do not be like his ex-girlfriends,’ Diamond’s family warn fiancé

Diamond Platnumz new girlfriend Tanasha Donna

Bongo flavour star Diamond Platnumz’s mother Bi Sanura Sandra is impressed by his son’s hurried wedding plans to Kenyan beau Tanasha Donna.

Diamond and the NRG radio presenter started dating about two months ago and are already planning to wed next year on Valentine’s Day.

Last week, the singer officially announced the dates and said his wedding will be a four day affair.

When Bi Sandra was asked of what she thinks of her son’s hurried wedding plans, she said she has no objection, expressing her excitement at his son’s new catch.

“If my son sees her worth then I am happy. Let him marry her, because his age is in line with the age of marriage,” Bi Sandra said.

Tanasha, ex-girlfriend to Kenyan actor Nick Mutuma, is 22 years, seven years younger than Diamond.

The singer’s elder sister Esma Khan has also given her blessing to the wedding. However she has warned Tanasha not to be like her brother’s ex-girlfriends.

“I have accepted my Daughter in law because Nasibu (Diamond) himself said he saw and agreed with her. Mostly I pray for them just to not be like others so I can get a legitimate daughter in law” Esma said.

Esma and her mother were never of Diamond’s ex Hamisa Mobetto with whom he had a son.

Mother and sister are said to have been behind Diamond’s break up with Hamisa because he listens to them a lot.

Wema Sepetu, another of Diamond ex girlfriend, suffered the same fate after Bi Sandra disapproved of her because of her numerous affairs within the Tanzanian entertainment industry.
