Government Chief Whip Ruth Nankabirwa, was on Friday night left bewildered at Jose Chameleone’s Saba Saba concert after the singer snatched a microphone from her in the middle of her speech.
It all started with mixed voices from the audience with some revelers heckling the Kiboga Woman Member of Parliament with a few voices chanting People Power, a political pressure group led by the Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine.
The AfroBeat artiste real name Joseph Mayanja then jumped on the staged and grabbed a microphone from the MP who was left gawking and he said “This is our Moment. We thank you honorable. I think that is enough from you. Let us move on” as he went on with the performance.
It is understood that Ms Nankabirwa had been invited by the event’s organizer, Balaam Barugahara, to inaugurate his radio station, Radio 4.

However, the exercise was cut short when the most popular musician of his generation grabbed the microphone from Ms Nankabirwa and continued with his musical performance at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
There were performances from singers; Khalifa Aganaga, Pallaso, Papa Cidy, Leila Kayondo, Abdul Mulaasi of the famous Swimming pool Kadongo Kamu tune and legendary Ziggy Dee who perfumed Mic ya Ziggy Dee.
Following the melee, Kyadondo East MP cum singer Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine quietly entered Lugogo cricket Oval to grace the show, reigniting the mood when Chameleone asked him to step onto the stage.
“Today we are going to celebrate the cream of our talent at the Lugogo Cricket oval. We have a living legend and we shall celebrate him today and for many years to come,” Chameleone added while inviting Bobi Wine on stage.
Bobi Wine sang a few lines off his popular song Kyarenga before Chameleon took over. The show ended at midnight.
