Singer A Pass bashed over ‘Shs6m haircut’

Alexander Bagonza, better known by his stage name A Pass after having his 6million haircut

The mention Alexander Bagonza, better known by his stage name A Pass, is usually followed by the name of fellow musician Moses Ssali popularly known as Bebe Cool.
Usually, the two names are mentioned in the same sentence especially after one of them has done or said something ‘offensive’ against the other.
This time, the offence was not against any of the musicians but music fans.
A Pass on Thursday evening tweeted what we believe was a joke about having a Shs6 million haircut.
“How do I look guys??? And please don’t be a hater. Money has been spent on this new look 6 million to be exact, styled. It also brought me a comedian to entertain me as the hair was being worked on “nga bazikolako,” reads the tweet accompanying the photo.

Whereas some of his followers praised him for being smart, others took offense before throwing all sorts of dirt at him. Other Tweeps simply laughed it off, describing him as unserious and a reason why Uganda’s currency has lost value.
One of the social media users J Mayanja-Nkanji said the haircut was not worth the amount he stated.
“That 6m must have simply fried your brain coz that look, interesting as it may be, simply ain’t worth even 500k even if we convert the cost of hair colour, shampoo & whatever else into USD. Ask for a #Refund #HonestOpinion given as asked,” she tweeted.
Several others responded with photos of different animals equating them to the Oruso singer.
“Let me get this straight you spent 1,643$ on a haircut. You should’ve jimmy shoes on,” Jj Yoshua.
Ph?st?_AGB said: “6 million to look like a horse” while Amurani Hussein? tweeted saying: “Indeed you are a live example our currency has lost value 6M for this shhaaaaa.”
