Museveni to launch two-song ‘non-stop’ album soon

President Museveni

You want another rap? News reaching us is that Uganda President and rapper YK Museveni will be launching his new music album very soon.

Titled Non-Stop, the album is said to have only two songs, whose videos are a work in progress.

Speaking to Spark TV, Balaam Barugahare, a music promoter revealed that he is working hard to bring the album to life.

“Museveni has a new album and we shall be launching it soon. This album is going to be called Non-Stop. It is a nice album, it has two songs, which even have music videos,” he said.

“It’s a new album and it is very good, when you see those songs you will love them. The videos were shot at his farm. I want Museveni to be one of the musicians I personally manage,” he added.

Barugahare was reacting to people who have been encouraging him to take over the promoting of Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga concert.

“The people who are preparing the Kyarenga concert have to understand that the Museveni government exists. They should meet with Namboole management, alongside people from government and set guidelines and get another date,” he said.

“Bobi Wine is one of the artistes that impress me and he is a friend. But we are different when it comes to politics, because he is of people power, yet I am NRM,” adding, “I cannot run Kyarenga launch, because I am busy preparing for Another Rap launch. That would be a contradiction,” he said.

Barugahare says the Non-Stop album launch would be free for all citizens, since he and a team of other patriotic Ugandans have offered to do the production free of charge.
