City socialite Sipapa is being detained at Kira Police Station over assaulting a Spark TV journalist.
The socialite, whose real names is Charles Olim, is reported to have beaten up Alex Bongole who was taking pictures of him when he (Sipapa) was being evacuated from his house 3 months ago.

Sipapa, a rival to Bryan White, another socialite, has had various run-ins with the law.
On May 8, he was charged with violating traffic rules.
On July 19, he was rearrested for being a public nuisance and inconsiderate use of a motor vehicle.
Sipapa was arrested at Kisekka Market in Kampala, following distress calls from business owners in the area.
