This afternoon, the ‘President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will address Parliament about the state of security in the country.

And as such, we engaged our social media audiences in a short discussion about what they expect the fountain of honor’ to say.

Guys, why do you beef the man so much? Someone who has made your long trips to Entebbe shorter, by constructing an expressway! Someone who has given you the freedom to say whatever you want and whenever you want to say it. Someone who has given you free education (UPE and USE), and is also promoting technical education?

Aren’t we being ungrateful? Okay, at least give the man a listening ear. But people like Fred Musoke do not even want to engage in the discussion at all; “Am I the one who told him to address us? You are just wasting people’s time, such questions should be asked when the president called a press conference. He has already prepared what he is going to say. It’s like you are telling us to bet.”

Biketi Keny thinks Monitor is just asking funny questions, which the President will never respond to.

“Monitor stop asking us this funny question. The president has never addressed what we feel he should address. Even if you give him what we want on a golden plate, he will show you that he throws them away.”

Should we say that these two are just frustrated? No! Actually there were worse comments on the post. Arafa Sikuzani plainly said; “My Question is that when is he going back to the bush because his grandchildren won’t spare him this time around.”

Bernard Mugabiirwe does not expect anything new in this afternoon’s address by the president. “It is the same old story. Nothing new. Let him narrate his stories and issue out threats to the opposition as usual.”

“Am tired of his speech and secondly, what is he going to address since he is the Ugandan biggest problem,” commented Osinde Demeterio.

“We have better World Cup matches to watch at that time than wasting our time mbu state of national security,” said Niyo Andrew.

“He should leave our country and stop deceiving people mbu is always voted to lead Uganda coz inside his heart he knows he tells lies,” replied Wanikina Faustine.

“Updating us on new banyankole & Baganda proverbs plus how he came in power and maybe his plan to do something about Monitor talina makulu,” Solomon Destiny.
