The death of singer Oryema hit so many world musicians hard and one of them was Joel Sebunjo, who has come out to pay homage to the fallen singer.
A few weeks ago, Joel Sebunjo, in an interview said he was going to release an album called United Slaves of Africa.
The album, which has more than five songs recorded last year, was supposed to be released next month but Sebunjo could not wait any longer and has already released a song titled Oyoo because it has an attachment to Godfrey Oryema.
The singer said Oryema inspired him to do the song. “I wanted to come up with something that rhymes like Oryema so I did Oyoo.” Oryema, who lost his battle to cancer last Friday, was one of Uganda’s treasured soulful artistes based in France.
