Chameleone runs to Bryan White for help after ‘beating’ journalist

Legendary Ugandan musician Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone has run to socialite Brian Kirumira alias Bryan White for help after he allegedly beat Bukedde gossip writer and presenter Josephat Sseguya.

Sseguya dragged Chameleone to police following the Friday fight at Catherine Kusasira’s introduction ceremony in Luweero.

The self-proclaimed gossip president said he made the Tobesiga singer who is but “he beat me up saying that I’m the one responsible for his low rankings in his music.”

“These are kicks of a dying horse. Chameleone was looking for ways of making news, and indeed, he made it, but on the contrary, it should be music doing the talking for him,” Sseguya is quoted saying.

Chameleone has however, denied the allegations saying he did not beat Sseguya up.

“Sseguya is my friend. We’ve come from far with him. I just approached him and told him to stop talking ill about me. When my wife gave birth from America, he talked, when my wife had left home, he still talked, but now that you’ve decided to go to court, it’s fine. God will judge us,” Chameleone said.

However, Bryan White who recently survived spending his rest of the life in Luzira prisons after court acquitted him of charges of attempted murder of his neighbor, advised the two to avoid court and reconcile their differences amicably.

“I don’t know what happened but I will be looking for you (Sseguya) so that we solve these issues man to man and not in court as you are planning,” Bryan White said in a live video with Chameleone on Monday.

Sseguya told police that he fears for his life following the alleged fight but the self-proclaimed hit master says he (Sseguya) is like his brother and therefore no need to be threatened by Chameleone.

“I have not hired anyone to threaten his life,” he said.
