The death of the retired Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo has without a doubt hurt many a Ugandan. But among the most hurt is singer Martin Nkoyoyo, alias Yoyo.

The singer has posted a message on his social media that has had many fans come out to console him.

“Tata welaba (fare thee well father). For me it is a celebration of your life and legacy. Wumula Mirembe (Rest in peace),” Yoyo posted.

Even though the fallen man of God was an uncle to Yoyo, the latter has fondly referred to him as ‘father’ all his life. Yoyo’s father, Martin Tebaja Nkoyoyo, was a brother to the former Archbishop.
